First of all, allow me to welcome you to this lovely campus, the campus of State Polytechnic of Semarang, where you will be studying for the next few years. I do hope you will find learning here challenging and interesting and you will eventually be able to come out of this campus with a bunch of useful knowledge, a lot of exciting experiences and all the necessary skills that you will need for your future career.
TOEIC PREDICTION TEST
Now, let's talk about the TOEIC Prediction test for the new graders.
Please be informed that every new student of Polines has to take a TOEIC Prediction test held at UPT Bahasa soon after he/she is officially enrolled as a Polines student. In other words, your English proficiency will be measured at the beginning of your study at Polines. This is because Polines needs to know its students' base-line English proficiency. This is important because Polines has decided that all of its students should have possessed a certain level of English proficiency before completing their study on campus. Knowing the base-line level of the students' proficiency makes it easier for the institution to find the best and most efficient ways in helping its students achieve their targeted English proficiency during their course of study.
